Care Groups
Dates and times vary
Care Groups are the main vehicle for discipleship and community at Valencia Hills! These groups focus on sharing life together for the purpose of spiritual growth and maturity and for cultivating meaningful relationships. 

After you complete the online form a Valencia Hills staff member will be in contact with you to complete your Care Group registration.

Walk and Talk (For Women)
Tuesdays – 8:15-9:00am (begins 5/21)

Each Tuesday, women who want to walk together are free to join the group. Locations vary, so please text Michelle Shaw. This is for any woman in the community, children in strollers welcome.

Men’s Retreat feat. Dr. Gene Getz

Join us for a Friday evening (7:00-9:00pm) and a Saturday morning (8:30-11:45am) with renowned author and speaker, Dr. Gene Getz, as he speaks to our men.
Spiritual Care Training
Wednesdays at 7:00pm (starts 9/4) OR Thursdays at 8:30am (starts 9/5)

These classes are designed to help you come alongside someone who is hurting and provide biblical perspective and help.

2019 Christmas Choir
Thursdays at 7:00pm (starts 9/5)
Come be a part of our 2019 VHCC Christmas Choir! Join us as we prepare to help with music and worship for Christmas Sunday, December 22nd. No prior experience is necessary; come and enjoy the music and the fellowship and invite a friend!
Fusion | Serve – Help The Children (Jr High)
September 7th – 8:45-11:00am
Jr. High students are invited to come and serve at Help The Children in Canyon Country. Drop-off and pickup will be at Help The Children’s location on Reuther Ave. Please have each student bring three canned or dry goods to donate.
Love and Chaos Community Group
Wednesdays at 7:00pm (starts 9/5)
Learn to provide care and support to those caring for a family member who has a mental health diagnosis. 
Family Patterns (Women Only) Community Group
Mondays at 7:00pm (starts 9/9)
Learn to identify patterns in your family for the purpose of honoring Christ and positively impacting future generations!
Boundaries (Women Only) Community Group
Tuesdays at 9:00am (starts 9/10)
Come and learn biblical wisdom for setting healthy limits in your relationships.
Divorce Care Community Group
Wednesdays at 7:00pm (starts 9/11)
Find support and recovery after a divorce. $20 registration fee covers materials.
Awana 2019 Registration
Tuesdays at 6:00pm, September 17th, 2019 – May 5, 2020

Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is a Bible-based mid-week program for kids 3 years old (potty trained) through 9th grade at Valencia Hills. The emphasis in Awana is on Bible memorization and is a proven outreach program that gets children involved in learning God’s Word and developing a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Initial registration closes August 27th. Registration priority is given to leaders’ children. We hope your child(ren) can join us for another exciting year as part of our Awana club. Guilt and Grace (Women Only) Community Group

Is living in guilt normal for you, especially when you have to disappoint others? This six-week course will help you experience more grace in your roles as a woman..
Courageous Men Community Group

Join our weekly gathering of men which focuses on topical Bible studies and fellowship.
Fusion | Serve @ Union Rescue Mission (High School)
Fri-Sat, October 18-19
Join us for an unforgettable service opportunity at Union Rescue Mission! We’ll be spending the night on their roof and learning about all the ways they minister while getting to jump in and help as well.


Fusion | Serve – Road Trip (High School)
Thursday, January 9th, 10:00am-5:00pm
High Schoolers are invited to hit the road for a day trip all around SCV visiting and learning about some of the incredible work being done in our community by some amazing organizations.
