Marriage Interviews with Professional Counselors and Church Leaders”
Wednesday, June 24th at 7:00-7:45pm 
This four week class will provide you with further tools in how to improve your marriage. Each week Pastor Dan Broyles will interview church leaders and professional counselors about issues regarding marriage such as communication, expectations, spiritual intimacy, and more.  This four week class (via Zoom) will be for strong marriages and struggling marriages.
Men of Hope-SCV Bible Study
Starts May 9th Saturday at 7:30-9:00am
 
Every Saturday, starting May 9th, all men from SCV are invited to attend the Men of Hope Bible Study. We will meet at Valencia Hills Community Church. For more information contact Joe at 661-714-2544 or Mike at 661-816-8081.
Courageous Men Care Group
Monday, May 18th at 7-8:30pm (10 weeks)

Stepping Up- A call to courageous manhood by Dennis Rainey.  There will be a 20-30 minute video and discussion. It is fine to remember that it’s okay for men to tear up and get misty eyed. This class is truly inspiring and confirming. And so the questions begin… “When was the last time you did something courageous?” You may be surprised at the answer.

Who’s Pushing Your Buttons

Grief Share
Wednesday, July 8th at 6:30pm (13 weeks)
Grief Share is a grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. This class is only for people who have experienced a death of a loved one. 
Dealing with Discouragement
Thursday, July 9th at 8:30am (3 weeks) 
During these difficult times, it can be easy to feel discouraged. With everything occurring in our society, life can be overwhelming and your spirit may be dampened. This three week class will provide Biblical insights and practical suggestions in how to face discouragement.  The class will be co-taught by Dan Broyles and Susanna Bundy.
The Forgiveness Interview
Tuesday, July 14th at 11:00-11:45  
Dan Broyles will be doing a one-time interview with Dr. Worthington (via zoom) on the topic of “Forgiveness.”  In the midst of these unique times in our culture, this will be good to hear from someone who has spent decades studying forgiveness and reconciliation. 
Everett L. Worthington, Jr. is a licensed clinical psychologist and Professor of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He has written over 30 books on topics including forgiveness of others, character strength, religion and psychology, and couples’ therapy, and he has published over 350 scholarly articles and chapters.  He also served as Visiting Professor at University of Cambridge and at the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Worthington often speaks with the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is committed to his relationship with God and living out his faith.
How to Disagree Well
Wednesday, August 5th at 7:00pm  
We all have difference of opinions, even with our closest friends and family members.  Sometimes people will say you should not talk about “religion and politics.”  The reason for this statement is because often differences in opinion can easily turn into serious arguments (that cause pain). This four-week class will address how to disagree in way that honors God. The concepts in this class will address how to disagree well, whether the topic is race or differences in marriage. This class will be taught on Zoom and will be co-led by Dan Broyles and Michelle Shaw.

Join us if you’re engaged or have been married for less than 2 years! This group will provide a context to connect with other couples and learn about what makes a marriage strong.
