Connect and Guide

At this year's Parenting Summit, we'll dive into what it means to guide your children in areas like decision-making, emotions, faith, and relationships, while also discovering powerful ways to build deeper, lasting connections with children of all ages.

Our Summit includes:
Main session with Pastor Dan Broyles
Breakout sessions specific to parenting younger children or teenagers
Panel discussions with professional therapists

This event is intended for parents, grandparents, or caretakers.
Cost: $10 including refreshments

FAQ

Will there be childcare?
Yes, children 0-6th grade will have childcare, and jr. high schoolers will have activities planned with our Student Ministry team.

Who will be speaking?

Pastor Dan Broyles leads VHCC's Spiritual Care Ministry, helping people feel less alone in their struggles knowing God is with them, as well as gaining practical tools to overcome hardship. 
Previously, he was a social worker for the County of Los Angeles, where he helped children who were abused and neglected. Pastor Dan also has a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a B.S. in Biblical Studies and a B.S. in Human/Family Development.

Kiki Tamanaha is a School Psychologist with LAUSD and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families. She specializes in helping parents understand their child’s learning, behavior, and emotional needs and brings a compassionate, practical approach to strengthening family relationships.  

Aaron Kellogg is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and firm believer in the faith. He believes life-changing therapy stems from the union of evidence-based practices appropriately applied to client's lives. Aaron is a native of Santa Clarita, graduating from Saugus High School in 2011.
